![]() Physical definitely got a small downgrade. Hydro and Aero get nothing but they already had wet. Fire mages get a 10% damage buff since they can now apply burning directly to give -10% fire resistance plus the actual burning damage. I think the changes to Torturer talent (allowing it to appply status through armor) are the bigger differences in for mages. Now they have 1 at highest rarity which means you get what you get. Before vendors frequently had several items at highest rarity, so you could be a little picky about which stats you wanted. They also changed the vendors item offerings so it's a lot harder to gear now. They did flatten the gear curve a bit, but the differences are a lot more apparent in the later acts. I like that version better than just waking up on the ship not really sure why though. My guess it that it was a relatively low resource cost to develop, but immediately says "HEY LOOK NEW CONTENT" to old players as they start the game. I think the new level on the ship was mostly for old players. On another note, I am loving the squirrel so far. Still on the Joy so I haven't seen necrofire yet.Ĭlassic Fire () Classic Ifan on Fire () Definitive edition fire () Definitive Edition Lohse on fire () I've always used the character outline so I've never really had a problem seeing people in/on surfaces. That might just be a difference in default graphics setting. Still in Fort Joy and on classic difficulty so I can't really say how the balance changes have affected it yet. ![]() I've been crawling through a new coop playthrough. It's still not as smart as a real player (obviously) but it's better than it was before. Enemy rogues stealth more often, and all enemies use their CC more intelligently. Supposedly they've balanced things so that magic is more useful in later acts instead of Warfare being optimal on every single character.Įnemies seem a bit smarter, at least on tactician. Skill points caps are the same now whether you have Lone Wolf or not, so you can't just smash your way through the game without thinking. They finally nerfed Lone Wolf so that it doesn't completely trivialize the entire game. Maybe it's more useful for someone completely new to the game though. The new tutorial deck is short and completely useless. Hopefully these things are fixed on the official launch. I've had to save and reload a few times to fix text glitches, and during one fight the enemies started fighting each other instead of me. They finally made stealth not completely useless as Guerrilla drops the AP cost to 1. poor.Has anyone else tried this yet? I've been playing around on it with my friend on PS4 since we have access to the first act, with the rest coming out at the end of the month. This obscure, unclear information is really. I'm guessing the effect removal is connected to the Historian and it's working on any character. I never ''finished'' the quest as I skipped the whole sequence with flashing the ring. I'm not sure how it works or what the ♥♥♥♥ happened. If you flash the ring but go back and complete the maze, you'll remove the effect it seems. So you'll have the effect without the actual effect. The ring will always ''curse'' you but the effects not actually exist. you can easily completely ♥♥♥♥ yourself out of not only quest rewards but a good ring?! What the ♥♥♥♥.Įdit: Man this game has some weird/bad design decisions sometimes. Without meta-knowledge that by flashing the ring and pretending to be Rex. Can be removed by blessing.īecause if so, that is utterly retarded game design. You can nullify effect of it if you finish gargoyle zone (you still get cursed, but without effect, and only character that finished the quest).
